Village Pottery featured on Japanese TV Show

August is upon us! It’s hard to believe how fast the Summer is flying by. This marks the 4th month of our 40th season. It’s been great so far, we’ve had the chance to see a lot of our returning customers as well as meet many new ones. Thanks to everyone who has visited so far!

One of the highlights of the past few months involved a Japanese film crew. They entered the shop one day and asked if they could film us at work. We agreed and before we knew it, they had the cameras rolling as we threw a few large pieces on the wheel. Then they returned a few days later for the “interview” portion. Little did we know, this would involve showing the shows host “Jean” (a little stuffed panda bear) around the shop.

A few weeks later, an amazing thing happened. People from Japan started coming into the shop after seeing the show! How exciting. We’re thankful we were chosen to be apart of this show.
