End-of-Summer Update
Where has the summer gone! As the days become shorter and the breeze off of the nearby ocean becomes cooler, hints of September and back-to-school is literally in the air. That said, Prince Edward Island is so lucky to have the loveliest of Autumns, meaning there are still many beautiful days to come and plenty of time left for exploring the island. In fact, Village Pottery will remain open until Thanksgiving weekend, October 12-14 2019. We’ve had a great summer season at the shop and we look forward to the final couple of months of the 2019 season. Thank you everyone who came by the shop and supported our 46th season! We’re continuing to make pottery every week with new pieces arriving every few days so keep an eye on our Instagram and Facebook page to see the latest!
As the seasons change, our shop hours will change a little bit, too! Our updated shop hours for September/October are as follows:
Monday-Saturday: 10am-5pm
Sunday: 12-5pm
One event to look forward to is our annual Studio Tour Sale, occurring on September 14th from 10am-5pm, and September 15th from 12-5pm. Drop by our shop in New London for 20% off pottery, as well as demos and a cozy cup of coffee or tea on us! We look forward to seeing you!
If you can’t make it out to our shop in New London, have no fear - you will be able to find us in Charlottetown at two events this Fall: First at the Etsy Made in Canada market on September 28th 2019, and again at Farm Day in the City on October 6th 2019.
And what about our sweet little Potter’s Parlour? After a busy summer scooping ADL ice-cream and pouring plenty of cups of Samuel’s coffee, Potter’s Parlour is remaining open 12-5pm Thursday to Monday (closed Tuesday & Wednesday) until September 29th.
For those of you who aren’t able to visit us on Prince Edward Island, we’ll be opening up the option to ship to you after September 16th and will start listing items to our online etsy shop in October to be ready for placing Christmas orders in November! Keep an eye on our Etsy shop here
